Wisconsin A fleet with Charlie Herrick ('26) and Ryan Tatelbaum ('25) along with wisconsin B fleet with Daniel Sandoval ('26) Finn Tait ('25) and Maddy Netzer ('26) Competed this weekend at the Emma B memorial regatta hosted by Hope College and Grand Valley State University this weekend. Day one started with postponment due to high wind speeds of 20 knots consistent gusting into the 30's. At about 12pm the wind calmed down enough to begin racing. Day 1 the Wisconsin team put on a flawless preformance, both A and B division got first in all of the races. Day 2 brought some more challenging conditions, it was about 7-9 knots and very shifty. Regardless of the conditions the team preformed very well. At the end of the day, Wisconsin was leading both fleets and had won the regatta overall. B Division had an outstanding preformance day 2 as well, they won all 4 races on sunday making their score all 1's. The team gathered their awards and then headed back to Madison. Huge thank you for the Herrick family for hosting the team this weekend!
