Reed Weston (‘23), Ally Hansen (‘23), Abe Weston (‘25), Cristina Dombrowski (‘23), and Ethan Jones (‘24) went down to sail at St. Mary’s for the Atlantic Coast Championships. Saturday started with light to medium breeze from the N/NW. The wind coming around the river bend caused constantly shifting angles and puffs, sometimes turning offsets into their own upwind beats. Sunday morning greeted the team with no wind, though it began to fill from the W/NW after a brief postponement. The breeze remained fairly light for the rest of the day, though decent puffs would sometimes appear for single legs of the races.
